The 3 Mistakes of My Life follows the life of three Indian young men Govind, Ishaan and Omi, who are bound together by friendship and their search for purpose in life. Govind, the main protagonist who believes that his Gujarati heritage makes being a businessman his calling in life but given his circumstances, it does prove to be quite hard. Ishaan, a cricket freak and a true patriot at heart is the best cricketer in his locality but fails to make his debut as an international cricket player. Then there is Omi, the rather innocent one of the trio who is at crossroads with the life he doesn’t know but wants and the life he knows but doesn’t like.

The trio of cricket crazed fanatics, desperate to make do with their lives open a cricket coaching center with the help of Omi’s maternal uncle who is more sinister than his otherwise dignified outlook. Ali, a local Muslim boy whose stroke of genius as a batsman catches their eye and they decide to be the pillars of his success in Indian Cricket, amidst the chaos that is sure to ensue.
